Non- violence

Like this Orchid people are beautiful and unique. Can you feel me? It is a relatively new phrase for the individual who want an answer that is important to his way of thinking.  I decided to write one blog a week, but I watched a great movie last night and the light bulb turned on in my brain. Why did non- violent leaders get murdered? Mahatma Gandhi, Probable the greatest non-violent leader of our time was murdered because he tried to convince to religious  groups to get along.

IMG_2506John and Robert Kennedy were murdered because their Ideas were changing America to a government for the people. Somebody else disagreed. Martin Luther King a professor of non-violence was gunned down because he was black! These examples of great men if  they were allowed to survive would had made the USA a greater nation. Can you feel me? What would it be like today if Muslims followed Gandhi’s lead. Would there be terrorism today? If the Kennedy’s were allowed to live, would America be a better place? New fresh Ideas scare the old hierarchy. If Martin Luther king had lived; would he help eliminate slums, make more jobs, taught White, Blacks Mexicans, Latino’s, and Asians how to live together in peace, harmony and love? Would not the world benefit from these great people. What happened? Can you feel me?

Hannibal, Genghis Khan, Hitler: destroyers all
The crusades, a religious call
Isis got the Call from Mohammad
Destroy all infidels, it is written

Innocence destroyed on the path to righteousness
America destroyed
Taking the wrong path
Show history’s wrath

What will history say?
Does it matter? Will we destroy everything in our way?
Why do we not hear the Ghosts?
Where are the heavenly hosts?

What is divine in war and hate?
What causes such actions by the human race?
Verily I say to you
Change the course you so construed

History will be blank
No God for you to thank
No references for the dead
There will be nothing that can be read

Only dark skies and stars
A planet empty and sparse

Loss of Faith?

Good will

What is Faith? * I it easy to believe? Can you lose Faith? Or is it all baloney?

  1.  Confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in another’s ability.
belief that is not based on proof: He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact.
  2. Belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion: the firm faith of the Pilgrims.
  3. Belief in anything, as a code of ethics, standards of merit, etc.: to be of the same faith with someone concerning honesty.
  4. A system of religious belief: the Christian faith; the Jewish faith.
the obligation of loyalty or fidelity to a person, promise, engagement, etc.: Failure to appear would be breaking faith.
  5. The observance of this obligation; fidelity to one’s promise, oath, allegiance, etc.: He was the only one who proved his faith during our recent troubles.
  6. Christian Theology. the trust in God and in His promises as made through Christ and the Scriptures by which humans are justified

I must admit that I have lost all faith; in God, the Bible and government; Because of my life experience as a Irish Catholic person and the troubles the church do not wish to condemn, forced my issues to the surface. Religious organizations make a tremendous amount of money; taking willing from their people for their own purposes. Priest driving Cadillacs, eating well while the parish live on soup. Ministers living in million dollar homes bought by nieve believers. Tax exemptions that free the ministry from payment, We pay thirty-eight percent of our income to the government. Is that fair?

A government will to live high on “the hog.” Over spending at the expense of their countryman. Propaganda has brought issues to the forefront. Young people believe Social Security caused our indebtedness. I paid into the program along with my employer; the government borrowed millions from the social security accounts and never paid the money back. Where does the fault lay, government or the people? We do not have money for Social Security because Uncle Sam stole it and now they threaten to close down Social Security. What a sham! Wake up children! Our lives are lost to lobbyist and Insurance companies thanks to our elected officials who take money for legislation they wish to pass. Obamacare was voted down by the people yet it was passed onto us as cheap insurance. How come I pay  $197.00 for Medicare and $60.00 for prescription coverage and I pay a discounted price on the prescriptions? My Social Security information said I would pay $104.00. What gives? Your insurance will increase as the insurances company increases their profits. Five billion dollars a quarter is not enough profit?

I promise nothing to no one. I believe in a higher power but no allegiance to any religion. My belief is goodness, the difference in right and wrong. Treat everyone with kindness and charity, no matter the color of their skin or language they speak.  My faith is in people who prove their righteousness. No governments or religion; I am loyal to those who deserve my loyalty. How about you? Has your government been loyal to you or is your government leaning towards Oligarchy?

The character of people who never quit
When in extreme condition, They use their wits.
They reach down deep to get it done,
Whether in business or a twenty-six-mile run.

To follow through with extreme prejudice,
Like a threatened Judge for justice, A
woman protecting her children
Or overcoming an opponent on the gridiron.

Maybe tenacity is studying to pass a test
Instead of partying with the rest.
A lawyer’s pro bono,
A fireman saving a life in a fiery inferno.

Tenacity is in the pit of your stomach,
Making a decision that is going to hurt,
Realizing the choice is right
That you must endure the fight.

It is Marciano’s fifty straight win,
Muhammad Ali’s ultimate decision,
Life-changing, character embracing,
Tenacity encasing.

The character in people who never quit.

Today I watched a video on Face Book that captured the heart and soul of what it is to be an American of the United States of America. It shows a boy Standing on Omaha Beach  celebrating Veterans Day. It is the most poignant video I have ever scene. The courage the young boy showed was incredible. He stood out in the wind holding the American Flag, in his WW II  uniform, holding a salute for one and a half ours. His little legs and arm tiring out, showing his appreciation for the soldiers who gave their life to win the war. The video was well produced and had me in tears.

This video gave me hope. Hope that there are parents out in America who are showing their kids what America is all about. That it is not all protest by college kids. That there is an ethic of hard work, respect for what it took to maintain our freedoms. That young people will strive for a better life. I left America because I did not like the moral decay of our politician destroying the American values: which we use to call ,truth, justice And the American way.

There is hope for a future. I hope people watch that video by the thousands, millions. For it has A resonating sound. The last forty years it seemed we lost our values. It will take a lot of work to gain the respect of the world. This young boy in a matter of a few minutes showed the world and America what America is. Thank you young man!

They walk one step in front of another
Always in unison with their brothers
They train hard to protect Their nation
Protecting us from the terrorist invasion

Our men and women are sent to strange lands
To fight dangerous and fanatical men
Religious zealots who have only one plan
To destroy and expel the infidels from their land

Our soldiers fight a religious war
A fanaticism they deplore
They see innocents killed every day
A genocide in a religious way

Terrorist have a strict adherence
To a religion of complete indifference
The soldiers see their lack of compassion
Which only increases their determination and passion

When they come home;
show them your pride
Show them you will stand by their side.
Take care of them in sickness

Take care of their mental wellness
Thank God above
For taking care of our soldiers we love
We should expect no less
